Q: What is my username?

A: Your username is the full email address with which you created your account.


Q: I got a message saying that my Web account is not activated. What should I do?

A: In your email inbox, you’ll find a message from ERSRI that contains an activation link. Click on the link to activate your email. If the link is not clickable, please adjust your email settings to enable links from ERSRI.


Q: I forgot my password. What should I do?

A: If you remember your “Secret Question,” you may click the “Forgot Password” link. If you’ve forgotten, call ERSRI’s customer service center at (401) 462-7600 or email ERSRI for a password re-set.


Q: ERSRI re-set my password, but I’m still getting a message that says “Log in credentials are not valid.” Why won’t it work?

A: Remember, passwords are case sensitive, so be sure you’re entering all capital and lowercase letters as shown. It’s also easy to transpose a number or letter, or to mistake one character for something else (for example, a zero and a capital O look similar). It’s best to copy the password directly from the email you get from ERSRI, and then paste it into the password field on the log-in screen. To copy, highlight the password, then right-click on your mouse. Choose Copy (you won't be able to see that your computer has made a copy). Then, go to ERSRI's log-in screen. Click your mouse into the password box so that your cursor is blinking inside the box. Then, right-click on your mouse and choose Paste. A row of black dots should appear in the password field. If your computer asks if you'd like to remember this password, choose no; otherwise, your computer will automatically fill in the password for you every time you try to log in (which can be a problem if you'd like to change your password to something that's easier for you to remember).


Q: How do I see the details of my deductions in my online check stub?

A: Your pay stub is under the "View My Pay Stub” tab. Click the tab, then scroll down until you see Pension Check Year. Choose the year you’d like to see; then, double-click on the individual check date to see the full stub with deductions.


Q: How can I print my check stub for my records?

A: To print, click the "Print" button (if you don't see the Print button, adjust the View settings on your screen to make the text a bit smaller). You can also hold down the "Ctrl" key at the lower left of your keyboard while you tap the "P" key. This command tells your computer to print.
